Today I experimented with a neat way to decorate fabric:
Shiva Paintstiks. This is an oil paint crayon that becomes permanent on fabric. I used some fabric swatches that I dyed over the weekend. You can draw directly on the fabric, just like the coathangers in copper:
You can also create rubbings. I found my wooden block printing stamps from India worked really well for this:
